Campus Activities Board

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run, student-funded organization committed to providing unique, exciting, diverse, fun, educational, and memorable events for the NEC community.

Tons of awesome events: Monthly bingo, trivia nights, movie nights, karaoke, paint and sip, open ice skate, musicians, hypnotists, comedians, spoken word artists, open mic nights, sports tournaments, video game tournaments, and more.

Student Government Association

Comprised of students from all aspects of campus, the Student Government Association (SGA) meets once a week to make large decisions on behalf of the student body. The club corresponds with faculty, staff, and administration on behalf of student concerns and desires, and in doing that, they have become the recognized voice of the students. SGA also receives funding to spend on capital expense items chosen by the student body. Although the organization is made up of an executive board and senators, any student is encouraged to attend the meetings and voice their opinions.
