The New England College men’s golf team competed at the NCAA Championships this week, capping off an incredible 2023—2024 season that saw the Pilgrims win the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship in just their third year as a program.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The New England College men’s golf team competed at the NCAA Championships this week, capping off an incredible 2023—2024 season that saw the Pilgrims win the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championship in just their third year as a program.

TOP ‘GRIMS

  • NEC junior Timothy Carlson (Albany, N.Y.) completed his brilliant campaign with a 73 on Tuesday and a 77 on Wednesday, leading the ‘Grims.
  • NEC sophomore Graham Hassan (Pinckney, Mich.), who with Carlson earned All-GNAC honors this season, shot an 82 and an 86.
  • NEC sophomore Kam Hellman (Macomb, Mich.) shot 88 and 94, while senior Roman O’Brienhalla (Chapel Hill, N.C.) posted a 101 and 104. Sophomore Kaleb O’Connor (Rochester, N.H.) finished with a 92 on Tuesday.
  • The Pilgrims finish a season that saw them win the GNAC in just their first year in the league and make the NCAAs in their third season as a program. The men’s golf team was voted the Team of the Year in last week’s NEC Athletics Awards Ceremony.
