Holi Celebration
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion cordially invites members of the NEC community to the Holi Celebration on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
The first part of the event will take place in the Simon Center Great Room in Henniker at 12:00 p.m. There will be music, and food will be served until 2:00 p.m. The color celebration will be held outside on the Simon Lawn at 2:00 p.m. Please come and join the celebration!
Holi Festival is an important Hindu commemoration that celebrates the coming of spring with love, happiness, and new life. It is a colorful festival with dancing, singing, and throwing powder paint and colored water. It is also known as the “Festival of Colors.” The festival has different traditions of celebrations across India and is one of the most celebrated festivals in the country. Authentic food will be served during this celebration. The whole celebration signifies the triumph of good over evil.
