Career and Life Overview
The Office of Career and Life Planning (CLP) helps students
- Develop career and life plans consistent with their skills, interests, values, and personal characteristics
- Acquire skills by engaging in internships, and service activities
- Demonstrate the results of their experiences in and out of the classroom and effectively present themselves
- Make connections in their career and further their studies in graduate school
CLP uses Handshake, a powerful ally, as a centralized career resource for all students, creating unprecedented access to over half a million employers. Offered as both a web-based service and mobile app, Handshake’s career services software gives students the ability to make same- or next-day, one-time- or clusters of appointments, anytime and anywhere. A curated collection of CLP’s published resources—such as résumé workbooks and job search guides—are also available for download.
