Senator Maggie Hassan Promotes NEC’s BSN Program
On February 16, the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions gathered to hear arguments on “Examining Health Care Workforce Shortages: Where Do We Go from Here?”
During the session, New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan began speaking at the 1:01:29 mark. During her remarks, Sen. Hassan touted NEC’s cooperative Bachelor of Science in Nursing program as a way to help alleviate the shortage of licensed nursing assistants around the state. She went on to ask the Committee’s witnesses how this type of cooperative program can be encouraged.
