Master of Business Administration—Healthcare Management, Executive MBA Program Overview
NEC’s Executive MBA in Healthcare Management provides working professionals and recent graduates with the proven leadership skills needed for today’s rapidly changing global healthcare environment. This 40‐credit program that can be completed in less than two years is specifically designed to help working professionals make the most efficient use of their time and to optimize their learning experience.
This program continues NEC’s reputation for creating well-rounded management professionals. Students will learn from faculty experts who are active business leaders who emphasize practical knowledge and skills. The student-focused curriculum positions graduates to achieve positive career outcomes with a background in strategic thought and analysis, analytical decision-making, leadership theory and practice, and organizational dynamics in healthcare management.

Attendance Policy
In-person attendance on campus in New Hampshire is mandatory for the residency weekend sessions. These sessions are an exciting and valuable component to the curriculum and provide extensive networking opportunities.
Pre-Requisites
- This executive-level program requires either an accredited master’s degree or three years of relevant work experience.
- You will be eligible for an internship/job in the U.S.
Executive programs are designed with working professionals in mind. NEC believes applied academics should be tied to the professions and professions can benefit from practitioners with advanced degrees.
Additional Information
A virtual orientation session to cover immigration issues, academics, login processes, and billing and payments and to provide an opportunity to meet the faculty and staff of NEC will take place a week before the term starts. Admitted students will receive the link to access the orientation session.
An internship for one credit is a required component of this program, regardless of your citizenship status or visa status. Internship is an integral part of the executive program.
Students must take at least seven credits per semester to be considered full time.
